[Quest] Trial of Bonds - Humanoid nekomata and nekomata coats

This is a custom quest made by GM Tita a good while ago, and her thread about the steps was gone along with the old version of the forum. So, since this quest is really a great thing to have, I'll try to write down the guide here on how to complete it.

A. Creating Nekomata coats

What you need:
1 Gold Scissor & 1 Gold Needle (buy the regular version from seamstress such as the one on Fareast, and then combine them with 1 Gold Lump each on the Weaponsmithing skill)
1 Thread of Seduction (An uncommon drop from Ramia and Rameless. Requires Magic Creature Knowledge from Wizard class or else you'll spend hours just to get one)
1 Rainbow Muleta (Talk to the NPC Tiny inside the Uptown Seamstress with 1 Noblest Fabric, 1 Colorless Powder, 1 of each colored powder. There are nine colors in total)
1 Nekomata that you wish to make the coat out of
1 colored powder related to the previous Nekomata

The color list is below:
Momo & Shiro - Colorless
Midori - Green
Ai - Blue
Yamabuki - Yellow
Sumire - Purple
Akane & Kurumi - Red
Anzu - Orange
Sora - Sky Blue
Wakana - Lime Green
Kuro - Black

Any nekomatas not listed here can't be used to make coats. In general you will need total 11 powders to make one coat.

Once you have all ingredients, talk to NPC Senshoku inside the Uptown Seamstress while equipping the nekomata. To avoid confusion, it is better to put all other nekomatas you have in your storage. This part of the quest is repeatable. You can stop here if you wish to keep the coat and not get the humanoid nekomata.

B. Obtaining humanoid nekomata pets

What you need:
1 Nekomata, and 1 Nekomata coat that matches with it. You will lose both of these at the end of the quest!

It is important to always wear both the coat and nekomata while talking to NPCs during this quest. You can switch to wearing a booster while en route, but try not to forget to switch back before talking to NPCs. Also, bring some space time keys.

Steps:
1. Go to Lake Utena, enter the library at the far right of the map, talk to the Rental Library Shopkeeper.
2. You will be transported to a new area. Talk to Princess Anzu. You'll get 1 Sumire Branch
3. Teleported to another area, in there talk to Queen Sumire. You'll lose 1 Sumire Branch and get 5 different items. After this you can talk to Momo to teleport back to Uptown
4. Visit the 5 nekomata NPCs in the locations listed below. Each NPC should take one item and give you 1 Soulless Crystal Shards
4.a. Kurumi & Wakana in the Secret Library, North Promenade. Enter the purple swirly portal near the north end of the North Promenade
4.b. Sora at Carmile Brick town, at the end of the long stairs at the middle
4.c. Kuro at Ghost Shelter, on the bottom right side of the map
4.d. Shiro at Light Tower Upper Floor, at the very end of it
5. Once you have 5 Soulless Crystal Shards, go back to the library at Lake Utena, all the way to Queen Sumire
6. While talking to Queen Sumire you will lose 5 shards and gain 1 Soulless Nekomata Heart. Then walk through the portal near Momo. Do not talk to Momo in this step
7. Walk through the map to the bottom end of it, and enter the portal between the two nekomata NPCs
8. Climb the mountain until you see two Miko NPCs. First, make sure you're still wearing your nekomata and your coat, then talk to the Midori (the green one) and pick your nekomata from the list. You will lose your coat and gain 1 event coat.
9. Unequip everything before talking to Ai (the blue one), this includes your nekomata. Once you're fully naked talk to Ai to complete the quest.
10. Ta-da! You have a weirdly tall nekomata pet now!
