Mining

Requirements

To start mining you need an Old Pick or a Hoe. When mining the head of your pick can come loose. You can't mine further unless you tighten it via the popup message. There is also a chance that your pick breaks.

Hoe gives +20% base chance for better items and has more durability.

Currently Pitman and Kubkin is spawned in mag_dun02. You can get the pick items from them.

When mining underground, accidents may occur. To protect against potentially fatal injuries, it is advised to use a Safety Helmet or a Mine Hat, but you can mine without them.

Mine Hat gives +10% base chance for better items.

Where to mine
You can mine Ore Veins located on various maps, by clicking on them.

Available places:

• Magma Dungeon - mag_dun01: 20 spots
• Anthell - anthell01: 19 spots, anthell02: 10 spots
• Coal Mine - mjo_dun03: 24 spots
• Mjolnit Mountain - mjolnir_08: 20 spots, mjolnir_09: 10 spots, mjolnir_10: 20 spots, mjolnir_11: 19 spots

Loot
Every place has different loot you can mine with a random chance. Valuable items have less chance than common ones. At start you only get common items, but the more you mine the more valuable items will open up for you to get. Each successful mining increases your mine counter, which increases your chance for better items. To open up every possible items with their maximum chance you need 6000 points. When you get enough points to "open" the chance for a new item, than means you have maxed out the previous item's chance. The new item will only reach it's maximum chance, when you open up the following item (or reach 6000 points).
